2009 RFP RECIPIENTS

The CORSE Foundation is pleased to announce our 2009 RFP Awards.  These proposals are in addition to the program initiatives we sponsor on a yearly basis such as our after-school academic and social skills programs, Scituate Public Schools and Social Skills Programming Coordinators, recreational sports programs and camps, Lose the Training Wheels, Therapeutic Riding, Music Therapy, professional and parent development, and the Verseckes and High School scholarships.

Since February 2006, the CORSE Foundation has dispersed over $145,000 worth of programs and initiatives back into the community.  For this RFP cycle, we have approved an additional $16,329 worth of new initiatives and have budgeted another $62,000 to continue running our most successful programs for the remainder of 2009.   This could not be possible without the continued commitment of our membership and community supporters.

The new initiatives funded this cycle include:  Early Childhood Center Art Therapy Program, Primary and Intermediate Learning Center Augmentative and Alternative Communication System, Classroom Amplification Systems for Grade 1 at all Elementary Schools,  Behavioral Progress Monitoring for High School Psychology Office and Transitional Learning Center, High School Flipz Camera for the Vocational Life Skills Program, District-wide Social Skills Enrichment Materials and Scituate Recreation All-Stars Nautical Mile program.  The CORSE Foundation would like to thank all of the applicants who submitted proposals this cycle.
