We, along with our partners from SHORE, would like to express our gratitude and thank everyone who helped make the 6th Annual Scituate North Pole Express on Saturday, December 7th a tremendous success.  Everyone did an amazing job and delighted hundreds of children, due to the generous community volunteers that who participated or donated to the event.  Thank you to event chairs Marybeth Fassnacht, Natalie Jurgel, Anne Meyerson and Lynda Ferguson.

And Another Fabulous CORSE Foundation Gala!

 

Once again, our community came out in droves to support the Scituate CORSE Foundation (Community of Resources for Special Education) at our 8th annual Gala on November 2nd.  We were again full to capacity with cheerful guests, unbelievable auction items and many touching moments.  We hope everyone had a wonderful evening!  

​

CORSE would like to acknowledge all those individuals and businesses that donated to and participated in the event’s success. None of this would be possible without Gina McClellan (Gala Chairperson) leading our Gala Committee, The River Club, Maureen Hunnefeld (50/50 raffle coordinator), Mike Connor (Auctioneer) and Dom D'Arcangelo (DJ). A special thank you to our community’s families (McClellan, Johnston, Avallone, Milligan, O’Neill, Block, Collari, Teixeira, Flanagan, Rodgers, Goyette) whose children put on a show-stopping, heartfelt performance singing Philip Phillips’ song “Home” on stage led by music teacher Peter Mundt.

Thank you to all of our donors and supporters for being part of our “Community of Resources”, allowing us to provide integrated social, academic and recreational programming that children with special needs can successfully participate in with their peers and neighbors.  We are very grateful for your continued support!
