We have customized our VERY POPULAR Gates and HS Best Buddies programs for our elementary students!!!! 

 

Best Buddies provides peer buddy and social thinking training opportunities as well as many field trips and social activities for ALL students to participate!  Best Buddies enhances a caring, compassionate and social school community that encourages peer-to-peer support and acceptance of differences.  Interested students will apply for the program with a parent registration and simple teacher recommendation.  Program sessions will alternate between on-site social thinking and team building activities as well as field trips.

 

Selected Best Buddies are expected to commit to ALL sessions, attendance is mandatory for continued participation in the program.  There are a set number of slots reserved for students who receive Special Education services.
