Thanks to all for 12th Annual Scituate North Pole Express
We would like to express our gratitude and thank everyone who helped make the 12th Annual Scituate North Pole Express on Sunday, November 17th a tremendous success. With over 3,000 people attending and many of them visiting from outside of our community, they all got a taste of Scituate hospitality at its finest. What a pleasure it is to live in such a giving and generous community. The proceeds from this event benefitted the Scituate CORSE Foundation (Community of Resources for Special Education) as well as the Scituate Appalachian Service Project and Friends of Scituate FACTS.
It does take a village to pull together an event of this magnitude and we would like to thank the multitude of volunteers from these organizations as well as Bob McQuaid, Will Candler and Jean DiGiacomondrea who bring so much joy to the children. We are also very grateful to our generous event donors: Peggy Lawton, Lapel’s Cleaners, Russell D. Field & Son, Graham Waste, Owl’s Crossing Preschool, Etoile Dance Studio, Anne Lambert Allen and Stop and Shop.
We cannot tell you how many glowing comments we received from parents, grandparents and the young children themselves who attended!
Thank you all for your generosity of time and talent,
Scituate North Pole Express Chairs
