THANK YOU FROM SCITUATE NORTH POLE EXPRESS
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who helped make the 4th Annual Scituate North Pole Express on Saturday, December 3rd a tremendous success. Approximately 2500 people attended, including many from outside of our community, and all received a taste of Scituate hospitality at its finest. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this magical event; we hope to see you again next year!

It takes a village to pull together an event of this magnitude. Although there are far too many people to list here, we would like to thank all the volunteers, readers and SHS students who helped make the 2011 Scituate North Pole Express a success. Special thanks to Tom Rose (tkrose.com), Kim O'Reilly, Anne Lambert (annelambertcreative.com), Jill & Robin King owners of Restaurant Oro, Field & Sons, Roche Bros., Carl Traina and the Spindrift Quartet, Stop & Shop and Elliot Goldfarb for your very generous contributions to the CORSE Foundation and SHORE. We sincerely appreciate your donations, sponsorships, help and support.

Merry Christmas and thank you all for your generosity of time and talent.
Lorraine Devin, Event Chair and Co-VP, CORSE Foundation
Jim Trevena, President, SHORE

THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL GALA!
On October 1st, CORSE Foundation held its 6th annual Gala at the Scituate Country Club. CORSE would like to acknowledge the individuals and businesses that donated to and participated in the event's success. Thank you for being part of our "Community of Resources" to provide programming and resources for children with special needs. None of this would be possible without Jennifer O'Neill and Gina McClellan (Gala Chairpersons), Scituate Country Club, Mike Connor (Auctioneer) and Dom D'Arcangelo (DJ). We are very grateful for your continued support!

GOLF TOURNAMENT THANK YOU!
Thanks once again to our generous community!
The CORSE Foundation held its 5th Annual Golf Tournament "Hit the Course for C.O.R.S.E." at Widow's Walk Golf Course followed by dinner and a silent auction at the Scituate Country Club on June 24, 2011. We would like to thank all those individuals and businesses that donated to and participated in the success of our Golf Tournament! None of this would be possible without the leadership of Kristin Erickson, Jennifer O'Neill, Gina McClellan, Widow's Walk and Scituate Country Club.
We are very grateful to all who contributed; we will continue to use these funds to provide valuable programming and resources to our community’s children, parents and educators.
Thank you again for your continued support!
Tracy Johnston, President, Scituate CORSE Foundation

CORSE AND SCITUATE RECREATION DEPARTMENT HONORED

The Scituate Recreation Department and CORSE have been selected as recipients of the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association’s (MRPA) Program Outreach Award.
The award is for a non-profit organization that has gone over and above regular programming to provide a benefit to the community. The award was presented on March 16 at a ceremony in Hyannis.
MRPA award committee chairman Bruce Doig said the board unanimously chose CORSE and the recreation department because of the wide range of programs they offer for children with special needs. “They have great programs and everyone on the committee agreed it was worth recognizing,” he said. “I’m involved in youth sports, and we’ve been trying to focus on involving kids that are challenged and provide more opportunities for them, and when I read about their programs and saw how much they do for kids, it was really something that struck close to home.”
